The enhancement of the Third Mission is an important objective of DIVAS, implemented through activities carried out both in the departmental laboratories and in the two service units belonging to the department, the Educational and Experimental Zootechnical Center (CZDS) and the University Veterinary Hospital (OVU).

The Three-Year Departmental Plan 2022-2024 (PTD 22-24) defines in detail the objectives for the three-year period and the indicators and targets expected in order to monitor in an organic way the number and type of initiatives.

Given the relatively recent constitution of DIVAS (January 1, 2022), the establishment of a departmental commission responsible for monitoring the activities of the Third Mission falls within the institutional objectives set for the year 2022.
